With funding from the Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation and the Asian Business Empowerment Council, CMAA started an Asian Small Business Assistance Initiative. Additionally, we partner with the Entrepreneurship Center at Community Teamwork, Inc. Cummings Foundation $30 Million Grant Program We are honored and proud to be selected as a recipient of the annua l Cummings Foundation $30 Million Grant Program ! Each year, this program awards 150 grants to a diverse group of organizations. These awards include 125 three-year grants of $30,000–$300,000 each, plus 25 ten-year grants of up to $1,000,000 each which fund a wide variety of local causes, including human services, healthcare, social justice, and education. CMAA will receive $30,000 a year over ten years, totaling $300,000. As a place-based philanthropic initiative, this program seeks to support nonprofits in eastern Massachusetts' Essex, Middlesex, and Suffolk counties and the Norfolk County cities of Brookline, Dedham, Milton, Needham, Quincy, and Wellesley. Thank you again for believing in CMAA's mission to improve the quality of life for Cambodian-Americans, as well as other minorities and economically disadvantaged persons in Lowell, MA through educational, cultural, economic and social programs.
