← Staff Theresa Tha Program Coordinator Youth Services Department(s): Youth Services E-Mail: ttha@cmaalowell.org Office Extension: (978) 454-6200 x1012 Direct Line: (351) 500-6456 Theresa Tha joined the CMAA team as the Wrap-Around Community Services Assistant & Receptionist in September 2023. We are excited that Theresa will be transitioning to the Youth Services Program Coordinator effective February 2024. “Since I was young, I have always been more inclined towards learning whatever I could about my culture. My parents taught me how to read and write in Khmer, and enrolled me into dance classes. From there, I began to fall in love and appreciate Cambodian art and culture and eventually worked my way into becoming an assistant instructor at Angkor Dance Troupe. I joined CMAA in hopes of being able to improve and add to my knowledge of Khmer language and culture, so that I could become the bridge between the older generation Cambodian immigrants and the younger generations of Cambodian Americans. Only by being able to witness and empathize with the struggles from both sides, will we be able to better the community as a whole.”

← Staff Sreang Heng Translation Services Manager Special Projects Manager Department(s): Special Projects Khmer Language Services E-Mail: sheng@cmaalowell.org Office Extension: (978) 454-6200 x1020 Direct Line: (351) 500-6457 Sreang Heng is a Cambodian scholar and writer who worked as a university lecturer in Cambodia in 2004. Over the years, Sreang has conducted research and written several academic articles about religion, culture and socio-economics in Contemporary Cambodia. Sreang also has experience in running a business here in the U.S. He is a multilingual person and is fluent in Khmer. Sreang is passionate about helping the community using the knowledge and experience he has. Sreang joined CMAA on April 10, 2023 as our Special Projects Manager and also provides Khmer Language Services.
