Prior to this role, Nich worked as the Monorom Family Support Program’s Assistant providing direct services to families and individuals with special needs. In her new role, she will be responsible for coordinating fundraiser events, assisting in cultivating relationships with individual and corporate donors, overseeing CMAA’s social media, and producing CMAA Weekly News, among other tasks. A Khmer-English bilingual, Nich holds a Master of Science in Educational Research from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Bachelor’s Degrees in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, and Finance & Banking from the University of Cambodia.

Energy Efficiency Initiative Our partnership with Mass Save brings energy savings benefits to all residents, landlords, renters, and small businesses. Mass Save provides eligible households with cost savings on their home energy consumption. Small Business Technical Assistance Initiative With funding from the Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation and the Asian Business Empowerment Council, CMAA started an Asian Small Business Assistance Initiative. Additionally, we partner with the Entrepreneurship Center at Community Teamwork, Inc. (CTI) to provide workshops in Khmer to new/start-up businesses in Lowell.
