Chantha Thang

Chantha Thang joined the CMAA team on October 10, 2023 as the Khmer Language Teacher and MassHealth Enrollment Counselor. Chantha, originally from Siem Reap, holds bachelor's degrees in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (Thailand) and Law from Royal University of Law and Economics (Cambodia). He pursued LL.M. in International Law at TLBU Graduate School of Law (Seoul) and recently graduated LL.M. from Temple University Beasley School of Law (U.S.). An ex-monk, he dedicated a year to teach English to underprivileged youth at the Advanced Center for Empowerment in Phnom Penh. Chantha is deeply passionate about community service and often volunteers at various events. Chantha will teach Khmer Classes to the kids in the After School Program on weekdays and to the Youths on Sunday mornings.
