CMAA Programs

Current services available through the CMAA include:

First Time Home Buyers in Partnership with the Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership ( ): providing first time home buyers with basic financial and legal information about buying a new home. Class is taught in English and Khmer.

Khmer Literacy: providing interested people with knowledge on how to read and write basic Khmer. Classes are held Saturday and Sundays – 10am – 12pm and 12pm – 2pm.

Translation Services: providing professional translation services in several Asian languages.

Young Professional Program: a program that connects young people to succeed in academic and professional life with professional mentors from the community.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) with the Lowell Adult Education: providing functional English for workplace.

Monorom Program: an innovative culturally sensitive program to provide support to families with developmentally disabled children.

Citizenship Assistance: including civics and history classes and aid with the naturalization process and an Individual Development Accounts. Currently must be an ESOL student to be eligible.

Financial Education (Coming Soon): providing seniors and interested community members with the basics of financial needs.

Health Education (Coming Soon): providing community members information about hep b, diabetes, chronic disease and more.
