CMAA Programs

Current services available through the CMAA include:

Cambodian After School Program: the program focuses on connecting youth with the Cambodian culture through language, music, and dance while offering academic achievement through tutoring and engaging activities.

Citizenship Assistance: including civics and history classes and aid with the naturalization process and an Individual Development Accounts. Must be currently enrolled in our ESOL program to be eligible.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): providing functional English for workplace and quality of life. Program in partnership with Fred Abisi Adult Education Center

First Time Home Buyer’s Training: providing first time home buyers with basic financial and legal information about buying a new home. Class is taught in English and Khmer.

Khmer Language Class: an open-ended basis Khmer language class held for community members 15 years old and older. It doesn’t matter what your level of experience is, all are welcome.

Monorom Family Support Program: an innovative culturally sensitive program to provide support to families with developmentally disabled children.

Rising Stars Sports and Leadership Summer Program: provides youth a free summer sports and leadership program for 6 weeks. The program is targeted for youth and families that don’t have the financial resources for summer programs.

Translation Services: providing professional translation services in several Asian languages.

Young Professional Program: a program that connects young people to succeed in academic and professional life with professional mentors from the community.

Walk-In Services: When language barriers prevent community members from accomplishing daily tasks or solving issues on their own, CMAA staff offer free interpretation and translation assistance from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
