Current services available through the CMAA include: community health advocacy and education, an elderly outreach program which provides social activities, health care screenings and education, translation services, transportation to medical appointments, and advocacy with housing, social service agencies and public assistance; a Young Parents Program which assists DTA referred clients who are out of school parents between 14 and 22 in obtaining a GED and/or employment; the Monorom Program, an innovative culturally sensitive program to provide support to families with developmentally disabled children; English as a Second Language training, which focuses on providing students with a functional English vocabulary for the workplace, Citizenship Assistance, including civics and history classes and aid with the naturalization process and an Individual Development Accounts.
